Pray for Country and Church

Pray for Country and Church

pray for country and church

I thought these two passages were very appropriate written by a favorite author of mine, Mary Baker Eddy, over 125 years ago. Please expand her use of gender biased words, which were meant in her thought to include everyone, and catch the essence of her message without tripping up on that. Here it is in my scrawl as I copied it down in my journal:

And on a more secular note, I like this advice an artist friend of mine shared on Facebook:

“Take a deep breath, and remind yourself of the GOOD in people. We are neighbors, friends, and family. We are each unique and different in our own ways. We weren’t made to all have the same way of looking at the world. But we ARE all capable of being KIND and compassionate. And we can all resolve to CARE about each other. So go do it. Be kind. Be civil. Be good. It starts with you.”

I work to amplify good wherever I find it. I love color, texture, beauty, great ideas, nature, metaphor, deliciousness, genuine spirituality, and exploring new territory. I encourage authenticity, nurture creativity, champion sustainability, promote peace, and hope to foster a new renaissance where we all are free to be our most fulfilled, multifaceted, and terrific selves.
