Irritated? Impatient? Anxious? Try Gratitude Instead

A blog reader shared this idea at our Wednesday evening testimony meeting and I liked it because it is so simple and easily applied. If you are feeling irritated, impatient, or anxious, try focusing on something you can be grateful for instead. Like light banishes darkness, you will find that you can’t be thankful and irritated at the same time. Gratitude also obliterates impatience, and replaces anxious thoughts with calm ones. Next time you are feeling negative things, turn it around by finding things to be grateful for all around you!
