Our oldest daughter had asked for Banana Republic gift cards for Christmas so she could buy clothes for work, so we set off to the factory outlet sales. She did really well getting some things she needed at great prices.
Our youngest daughter unexpectedly scored in the Coach store and spent all her Christmas money (aside what she had gotten for her Kindle) on a deeply discounted green leather jacket, the only one they had left.
We had a lovely day, and went out to dinner together afterwards. This is an outing we had never done before– since we buy so little– but it was fun, and they made wonderful but practical purchases that they will use for a long time. Thank you to the aunts and uncle that made this shopping spree possible! (And apologies for the poor quality iPhone photos!)
