Our vegetable garden in the raised beds out front is successfully underway, and the cabbage, in particular, is growing aggressively. I was entranced when watering them to see how their leaves are like funnels, gathering in the water and ushering it directly down to the ground near the stem. Very well designed! I was also fascinated with the play of early morning light around and through the wet leaves – so much so that I had to run and get my camera.
