The day after graduation, I remained to get my daughter moved out of her apartment and facilitate her transition into her next situation in Syracuse. Today was her last day working for the governor, so while she was there, I worked on researching apartment options for her beginning in July. (You can see her above dressed and ready to go this morning in her room before we begin to pull it all apart…)
Then we went out for a nice meal to celebrate closure of her time in Annapolis. It was a blast taking the water taxi from the end of her street ($5/per person) across to the Chart House where we enjoyed sharing appetizers and virgin strawberry daiquiris. The boat was so fun, and as I had never done it before and we had it all to ourselves, our captain felt like our own private gondolier. We walked back in the glowing sunset, jubilant, and ready to begin packing tomorrow.
