Two of my Paintings

These two paintings I did a while ago. I wanted to share them because they were done with techniques learned in a book I plan on reviewing (favorably) tomorrow. I love learning new techniques and seeing where they lead in the creative process.
The first, an abstract landscape painting was textured with tissue paper in gesso, which when dry, takes watercolor very differently! The second painting below uses plastic food wrap laid in water-based paint to coagulate abstract forms, after which you choose what to emphasize and what to diminish. What fun!
