Good Show: Art by Laura Wilk and Marisa Taddei

Art byLaura Wilk

I saw art by these two artists at a show at the Wilton Library in Connecticut, where they will be exhibited (and for sale) until December 29, 2009. Laura Wilk is an awesomely detailed representational watercolorist (click here for her website) and Marisa Taddei does exceptionally expressive non-representational monoprints (I couldn’t find a website for her.) You can see a some of their work intermingled below. (I photographed them as well as I could given the reflective glass and the library lighting…) The art of both of these local artists inspired me and I hope they do you as well!

I work to amplify good wherever I find it. I love color, texture, beauty, great ideas, nature, metaphor, deliciousness, genuine spirituality, and exploring new territory. I encourage authenticity, nurture creativity, champion sustainability, promote peace, and hope to foster a new renaissance where we all are free to be our most fulfilled, multifaceted, and terrific selves.
