Two Sketches of Boston

Two Sketches of Boston

What can I say about the terrible tragedy of bombs going off during the Boston Marathon?  I’m simply in prayer for things like this to never to happen again, and invite you to join with me in this effort to spiritually hold crime in check.

Boston is a city I love and have visited at least once a year for a long time.  I share the above image I took which shows the city embraced by a love way beyond itself.  That love is still there.

Inspired by the book The Art of Urban Sketching, below are two drawings of mine that I did of Boston in my sketchbooks which have never yet graced this blog.  I thought now would be a good time to share them.  The monochromatic one is from inside the Prudential Center looking up, and the other is from the airport Hyatt looking over the harbor at the city.

I work to amplify good wherever I find it. I love color, texture, beauty, great ideas, nature, metaphor, deliciousness, genuine spirituality, and exploring new territory. I encourage authenticity, nurture creativity, champion sustainability, promote peace, and hope to foster a new renaissance where we all are free to be our most fulfilled, multifaceted, and terrific selves.
