We saw this movie this evening and enjoyed it.  It wasn’t deep, there could have been more back story on the characters, and the cinematography was not excellent, so I give it only three stars.  But who doesn’t love a story where the underdog wins, where dreams are not only reached for but fulfilled, where stereotypes are defied, and early glimmers of equality of women are being spawned?  Add to that basketball, which I happen to love, with its full court presses and dramatic tie breakers in the last seconds of the game.  And the fact that it is all based on a true story improves it even further…  If you are in the mood for cheery light entertainment, give this one a try.  You can check out the trailer below.  Do you believe you will win?
