[/spb_text_block] [spb_text_block pb_margin_bottom=”no” pb_border_bottom=”no” width=”2/3″]My first day as Artist in Residence at camp was rained out, so since plein air pastel painting was not possible, I concentrated on painting black and white abstract works with depth. These are the next in a progression of black and white works I’ve been focusing on in the last month (see here and here) and I am particularly pleased with these newest ones.
The one above is 18″x18,” and the ones below are either 8″x8″ or 8″x10.”
Next in this black and white series I think I’ll explore collage utilizing black and white pattern… but first some decent weather is promised and I’ll be delving into some landscape work in pastel!
