I made this for the PSME Monthly challenge for May to paint “a bouquet of flowers.” Since I had recently done a quintessential version (see here) for the “still life with pattern” challenge, I wanted to focus this time more on the flowers themselves rather than their surroundings or vase.

I love the exuberance and cheer of this piece. It is 19″x27″ and done in pastel. See the whole work above, and close-up details of it below.
