No Art Without the Maker!

Some say there is no art without the maker,
beauty cannot live without it’s shaper.
If this is true then we must be
enmeshed in our own alchemy.

For it’s not the canvas, brush, or fame,
that gives a work its living name.
It matters  WHO you are – your joy, your ache,
the hidden truth, the hands awake.

To know your heart, your soul, your essence,
And so to meet the work with presence
Each mark revealing something true.
A reflection of the light in you.

For this is the real jewel in art
a glimpse into your beating heart
For what we birth can’t be undone,
it bears the pulse of where we’re from.
No seperation from what we’ve made,
our light and shadow both displayed.

For as the wisest truth was told
An artist dips their brush and paints their soul.
Some say ‘there is no art without the maker,
And I agree….beauty cannot live without it’s shaper.
