Every Healing a Resurrection
Jesus was practicing
his entire ministry
with each one healed–
the blind, the halt, the withered,
the bowed down, the palsied,
the lunatic, the deaf mute,
the lepers, the paralyzed,
the sick with fever,
the casting out of evil spirits,
the crippled, the severed ear,
the widow’s dead son in Nain,
and Lazarus from the tomb…
Each one healed
was set free, let loose,
unleashed, unfettered,
alleviated, assuaged,
no longer cursed or uncured,
but rectified, reconciled,
repaired, relieved, rescued,
corrected, cleansed, made whole,
each a powerful resurrection
of rebirth out of dormancy
of life made new,
of joy restored,
of resumed alignment
with original Truth.
Jesus practiced on others
what he knew he needed
to do for himself.
The same is possible for us.
We are to follow his example,
beginning with the easier
demonstrations of control,
graduating, blossoming,
step by unfolding step,
past the progressive
miraculous triumphs
of each individual
resurrection–
To celebrate
each proof, elated and
exhilaratingly awestruck,
while profoundly nurtured
into expanded believing–
ready to advance
and available at last
for the eventual ascension
of complete and permanent release
among total Oneness.
