PSME Show Brick Store Museum

I have two paintings in this national juried show in the Brick Store Museum in Kennebunk, Maine. The one above is titled Roughhewn, and the first one below is Up Through the Meadow.

In the photos below, you can see my favorites in the show, which were mostly not ones that got awards. I’m thinking I’d like to jury these shows in the future!

Below the photos of the paintings, are photos of the opening, with award ceremony and generous refreshments. Your fellow blog reader, and friend of mine, is president of the Pastel Society of Maine, which is sponsoring this show, and she was awarded flowers at the event where they read aloud to everyone the quote I posted on this blog last Friday.

I work to amplify good wherever I find it. I love color, texture, beauty, great ideas, nature, metaphor, deliciousness, genuine spirituality, and exploring new territory. I encourage authenticity, nurture creativity, champion sustainability, promote peace, and hope to foster a new renaissance where we all are free to be our most fulfilled, multifaceted, and terrific selves.
