We had a lovely date last night, complete with pizza out at Good Old Days and then went home to watch a sweet movie on Netflix: Nonnas. (Nonnas means grandmothers in Italian.)

I love movies about food, family, breaking limitations, second chances, and dreams coming true. This movie is all that, plus it is based on a true story.

A year ago we were in Italy and we too ate food made by nonnas,– what a treat– and that is what attracted me to give this movie a try.

We really enjoyed it, and I thought you might too. I give it four stars.
