I’m in this Connecticut Pastel Society Show

Connecticut Pastel Society Member Show 2026

My painting The Comforts of Pure Love is in the current Connecticut Pastel Society Member’s show in Southington at SOCCA. My painting got great placement in the middle double window of the show.

There was a good crowd at the opening and it was fun to catch up with friends I hadn’t seen in a while. My husband made his Pecan Sandies (recipe here) which were raved about by everyone.

In this post you can see my favorites in the show. I particularly like the two abstracted rock paintings. I apologize for any reflection in the glass in these photos.

The show is up until April 10, if you can stop by to see it.

I work to amplify good wherever I find it. I love color, texture, beauty, great ideas, nature, metaphor, deliciousness, genuine spirituality, and exploring new territory. I encourage authenticity, nurture creativity, champion sustainability, promote peace, and hope to foster a new renaissance where we all are free to be our most fulfilled, multifaceted, and terrific selves.
