Pastel Show at the Saco Museum Global Warming 2021 (pastel) by Polly Castor

I’m pleased to be in this Pastels Only international show at the Saco Museum in Maine. It is there until October 21, so stop by if you can. The artist’s reception was yesterday, and I’m in some very fine company there, although mine was the only painting that is completely abstract.

This painting of mine is first of a Global Warming series, where I intend to paint one each year for 20 years and then host a show with them all. Will they look more and more dismal or more and more encouraging?

In the photos in this post, check out the paintings I could photograph without too much too much glare on the glass.

I work to amplify good wherever I find it. I love color, texture, beauty, great ideas, nature, metaphor, deliciousness, genuine spirituality, and exploring new territory. I encourage authenticity, nurture creativity, champion sustainability, promote peace, and hope to foster a new renaissance where we all are free to be our most fulfilled, multifaceted, and terrific selves.
