Two New Impressionistic Landscapes in Pastel

This is the time of year, when I can no longer paint outside, I paint from photo references and memories of nature, as well as exploring ideas. Both of these scenes are from Huntington State Park where, as you know, I’ve been walking regularly.
Above is Woodland Light in July, 12″x12″ done in pastel.
You can purchase the original painting here.
Or obtain prints and merchandise of it here.
Below is Stark November Shadows, 12″x16″ and also done in pastel.
You can purchase the original painting here.
Or obtain prints and merchandise of it here.
I’m looking forward to a lot more painting!

Bright, hopeful, spring.
