Enchanted Glen (oil) by Polly Castor

I’m pleased to be in the Guilford Arts League Juried Show that opened last night at the Mill Gallery in Guilford, Connecticut. My piece in the show is Enchanted Glen done recently in oil. You can see it above, and in the first photo below, in its placement between two award winners; the one on the left got first place, the one on the right an honorable mention. The second photo below is of my favorite work in the show, which like mine, didn’t get an award.

This is a great group of people, and it is fun to see them each year. We had a good time at the opening. There is a lot of great work in this show, as well as a lot of good work that didn’t get in. Check out my other favorites below, or stop by the Mill Gallery to see them for yourself, now through September 28.

I work to amplify good wherever I find it. I love color, texture, beauty, great ideas, nature, metaphor, deliciousness, genuine spirituality, and exploring new territory. I encourage authenticity, nurture creativity, champion sustainability, promote peace, and hope to foster a new renaissance where we all are free to be our most fulfilled, multifaceted, and terrific selves.
