I had a great time last Saturday going into New York City with a friend to see the Enduring Brilliance Show of the Pastel Society of America, where we also went to their materials fair. See above the fabulous giant Sennelier pastels I got, along with a couple other goodies.

And below, check out this wonderful show! (Sorry to get reflections in some of them; the photography conditions were not ideal.) The caliber of the work was top notch, and it was great to see pastellists from all over.

Heading back to the train we ate at Sarabeth’s, a long time favorite of mine, and you can see my yummy meal in the last photo!

This yearly sojourn is becoming a tradition!
