On the Cusp of Something
At a transition point:
out with the old
in with the new
seasons shift
on fulcrums of faith
pivoting with promise
and positive in premise.
Passing the baton to
the next sprint segment
starting out fresh and nimble
running poised, assured
to honor and make good
what came before– unflappable,
focused, unwavering, and fast.
The future urges us forward
as opportunities press us onward,
and everything that came prior
is a firm foundation
on which to build,
hastened as we are,
by honest hopes.
Yes, to start again
earnest and eager
fleet footed and fearless,
with expectation surging–
revived, restored, revitalized,
rested, and now, yes now,
recommencing. Come on! Let’s go!

Love this message. We always think of renewal and restart with the dawning of spring, but I think vacation provides us with the renewal even more. As always you are spot on!
