Back At Creative Arts Camp

Every year for over a decade I have made the pilgrimage to Creative Arts Camp on the shores of Long Lake in Maine. This is a church camp and I love the intersection of Christian Scientists and creative people. They are both my favorite kinds of people. 

I drove up with my friend Libby, shown below and we yammered so much the five hour drive felt short. And then arriving is such a huge hug fest! This is turning out to feel more like a large family reunion than anything else.

Yes, I’m taking a class: abstract painting. But it is all so much more than that. Fantastic people in an remarkable place, with genuine, spiritual underpinnings. We’ll see here on the blog this week what unfolds…
