Happy Fourth of July!

We had a quiet day here, reading on the front porch while the Firecracker Race runs by, chatting by phone and FaceTime with our children, having watermelon and burgers, hanging out in our beach chairs at the Quarry with friends, and then reading on the side porch to the crackle, fizz, pop, BANG of the neighborhood’s personal firecrackers.
