Irises in Our Yard 2015

I always love the irises blooming. Some came from a dear friend’s grandmother, and other bulbs were Christmas gifts from my sister, so each one reminds me of someone special. I love the irises not only for their beauty, but also for the way they multiply themselves, so you can divide them and share them forward, the way these were shared with us.

The one above hasn’t bloomed for the last several years. It is nice to welcome it back!

Irises are my all-time favorite flowers. Your photos capture their beauty on many levels. I can almost smell them, and feel the light, moist texture of their delicate blossoms. Thanks for sharing.
