Hugely Thankful for my Husband’s Help

I need to express my profound gratitude for my husband’s help in launching this new website of mine. It would not have happened without him. In two years we transferred by hand 2,300 posts, and he did way more than half of them. Whenever I was daunted, he was encouraging. At each step he explained to me way more website terminology than I thought I wanted to know, and I was often intimidated by the whole website redesign process. Now I am incredibly grateful to know everything he taught me, and am thankful to feel so empowered. Because of him I know what SEO means, the difference between keywords and tags, and can find my way around what is unceremoniously called a “backend.”

This post is an inadequate shout out to someone whose support was unflagging, even through major design snafus, and a myriad of pesky details. His tutelage enabled my vision for this new site to come alive. Because of his support, this upgrade was created, populated and launched. With his fastidiousness and thoroughness it will also be debugged. And while I am so grateful for the new website being up and running, I am even more inspired by his amazing example of love expressed in steady, practical action over a long haul. With the exception of my parents, never before has someone done so much for me, and never before have I felt so loved.

Thank you, James. You are awesome!
