Art at Swarthmore

Art at Swarthmore

At Swarthmore, while our son was busy, we checked out the art scene there by going to both campus galleries, and visiting their three studios.

We had wonderful conversations with art majors, and found out most double major in something else as well. What a thought! Who knew I could have done both engineering and art in college?

Also, the gregarious young man shown with a hunk of clay below is working up to throwing 50 pounds of clay. Just for the record, that is incredible!

The last photo shows us serenaded by the campus a cappella group called The Sixteen Feet. They did a great job…

I work to amplify good wherever I find it. I love color, texture, beauty, great ideas, nature, metaphor, deliciousness, genuine spirituality, and exploring new territory. I encourage authenticity, nurture creativity, champion sustainability, promote peace, and hope to foster a new renaissance where we all are free to be our most fulfilled, multifaceted, and terrific selves.
