Two New Handmade Bowls

I’m especially pleased with the carved one, which I painted with under-glaze when wet, carved, and then after it was fired, coated with a clear glaze before it was fired again.

The little green speckled bowl I made to go with a gift from my thirteen year old daughter. She made the coil mug with the snake head and gave it to me. When I suggested she save it and give it to me on Mother’s Day, she quipped that, “Everyday was Mother’s Day!” Anyway, my new little breakfast bowl that I made, can go with my morning snake tea…
