These are the roses my valentine gave me. He was buying them from Trader Joe’s right when I was writing that needy poem a week ago (see here) and I think there is a lesson in that. There is always more good going on than we see.

Intermittently this week I’ve tried to photograph these roses; you can see my efforts here. During snowy weather it is a great pleasure to have fresh flowers around, especially ones so vibrant! Enjoy!
