It has been raining around here for over a month, almost literally every day. There has been so much rain there has been talk of arc building! Yesterday, on the way to take my oldest daughter to the airport (she’s going for 10 days to London as a homeschooling graduation present from her aunt that lives there) we were trying to remember what blue sky looks like, and how wonderfully peculiar it would be. (It doesn’t even rain this much in London!)
We discussed the deep blue of an October sky and gasped incredulous that such a thing was possible. Meanwhile, with all the rain, it has been hard to get out and hike, but in precious, scattered, in-between moments, I’ve caught these photos of all that water… moving. The more green/blue shots below were taken in May when there were some days with light, the gray ones this month when there has been none… Enjoy. And hopefully clearer weather is on its way. It is the end of June
after all, and we haven’t even swum in our swimming hole yet!
