How appropriate on leap year to be thinking about time. Since many blessings come from tithing, and probably since I don’t have much money, I’ve been thinking about tithing time.  Do we donate ten percent of our time to God?

There are many ways to think about it. Here are a few:

•  2.4 hours a day.
• .7 days a week (the Sabbath concept… the rest of that day you’d be sleeping)
•  6 minutes an hour or about 10 minutes per hour of your waking time
•  16.8 hours per week (that’s a pretty good sized part-time job!)
•  about 40 days a year (a Biblical #!)
