We have a wonderful community in town. Here are photos of our 5K Tribute Run this morning in honor of all veterans. Our oldest daughter ran in this fundraising race and also sang “Glory, Glory Alleluia” for the crowd.

The course went right past our house and we cheered them from our front walk on an absolutely perfectly beautiful morning. At the top of one hill, they gave each runner a POW/MIA flag to carry for the rest of the race.

These sparkling early Saturday morning hours were capped off at the local plant sale buying organic heirloom tomatoes plants for our garden…

I’m so grateful for the spirit and love expressed in this place.
