New Poem by Me: Fireworks

New Poem by Me: Fireworks

4th of July poem, july 4th poems

Like dandelions scattering their seed on the wind
Like daisy petals bursting forth as spokes on a wheel
Stems shoot up unseen in the dark, releasing
a riot of color, demonstrating freedom
both bombastic and whistling.
