Current Guild Art Show

Current Guild Art Show

Ridgefield Guild of Artists

I was visiting our daughter in Annapolis (see blog post here and here) during the days they were receiving artwork for this show, which is why there is nothing of mine in the show.  If I had been here, I would have submitted my recent enormous oil painting, so it was interesting for me to notice that there were no big works in this show.  What got first place?  The ironing board sculpture…  My favorite is the one at the bottom (there are three close ups of it) and the pastel woodland in the middle.

I work to amplify good wherever I find it. I love color, texture, beauty, great ideas, nature, metaphor, deliciousness, genuine spirituality, and exploring new territory. I encourage authenticity, nurture creativity, champion sustainability, promote peace, and hope to foster a new renaissance where we all are free to be our most fulfilled, multifaceted, and terrific selves.
