I don’t often review cookbooks, but this specialty one just on scallops is exceptional in every way. I’ve renewed it so many times from the library, now I’m accruing fines just to keep it around for a few more days! I often order scallops from restaurants when I have the opportunity, and this book can teach you how to achieve fabulous results for this delicacy at home.
I buy frozen scallops at Trader Joe’s, and these meals are quicker than almost anything else you can make – great for busy lives that need a whollup of protein. This cookbook has so many recipes, I have yet to try all the ones I want to. The photos are beautiful and general fishing and environmental information interesting. If you are looking for an great gift for a seafood eating cook, this is a great idea! I give it five stars.
