Hike Photos from Huntington State Park (June 2022)

After a flurry of activity early in the month, I’ve settled back down to an early hike each morning at nearby Huntington State Park. I gaze at the compositions in the water, at the reflections, the sky, the spider webs, the sun burning through the fog. It is a glorious place and time.
We play with our shadows too; check out our younger daughter’s piano hands. Also note the wild flowering mountain laurel, our state flower.
I hope you too are finding some time to ramble and saunter through nature, wherever you are.

Magnificent. Reminds me of East Tennessee where I grew up.
