One of the things I’ve promised my 15 year old this summer is to take time each day for her to swim at the Quarry. I have not only made good on this promise, but have done a lot of swimming there myself; today I swam for over an hour and a half without touching the bottom!

The weather has been beautiful and some of the time there spent not swimming, chatting with friends, or reading, I have spent painting. Here are my most recent abstract landscapes done there.
