Poem: Easter Morning

Poem: Easter Morning

 Easter poetry

Easter Morning

Hungry bears awakening from hibernation
Glorious spring blooms arousing from shriveled dormancy
Beautiful butterflies emerging from chrysalis caterpillar graves
Chirping chicks pecking their way out of silent egg shells
Life stirring where it did not seem to be.

Pale sunrise from darkest night
Desolation turning to dazzling hope
Mournful endings becoming joyful morning
as grieving shifts to gratitude
and we are shown that Life never ends.

The year does not begin
with the academic calendar
nor does it start on January first.
Realize today’s the day to commence resurgence
as Life is ever renewing, dawning, and arising in regeneration.

Thank you God!
