Three New Abstract Paintings in Pastel

I have been having a great time painting lately in pastel. Here are three of my most recent abstract paintings in pastel. All three are in one way or another a departure from what I often do.

In Carpe Diem (above) I used a different support with a small amount of india ink work in addition to pastel.

In Tumbling (first below) I refrained from color all together which you know is a serious restraint for me!

And in Mild Mannered (last below) I focused on soft edges, in contract to my usually hard ones.

All three are for sale; contact me if interested. You can obtain prints and merchandise of them here, here, and here in my gallery.

More are on their way! I’ve hit a fertile patch!

I work to amplify good wherever I find it. I love color, texture, beauty, great ideas, nature, metaphor, deliciousness, genuine spirituality, and exploring new territory. I encourage authenticity, nurture creativity, champion sustainability, promote peace, and hope to foster a new renaissance where we all are free to be our most fulfilled, multifaceted, and terrific selves.
