Sam Friedman is a contemporary artist living in Brooklyn. I’ve been enjoying following his Instagram feed and thought you might want to see some of his art.

I like how he incorporates both landscape and abstract elements with bright color and shapes. I do all those things to, but in a different way, and it is fun for me to see similar aspects done in in fresh ways. It helps me see my own work with new eyes.

I also like the clean technical aspect of these, that doesn’t bog down their sense of spontaneity. Sam is represented by the Joshua Liner Gallery and you can read more about him there.
