Photos of Our Yard on Memorial Day

Home is an ideal that soldiers have given their lives for over the centuries, so it seems appropriate to celebrate ours on this day.

Our garden is in its peak, and my husband yearly takes this day to plant impatiens around our front tree in anticipation of their Labor Day glory.  Also today he harvested our first radishes!

In addition here you can see roses, iris, peonies, bleeding hearts, lettuce, strawberries, peaches, geraniums, poppies, allium, hostas, mock orange, and many more gifts from God.  I’m so grateful to be married to a gardener and to live in a land of the free.  Below are photos of our yard on this (quiet for us) holiday.

Thanks for stopping by for this visual feast!  It is amazing that this abundance is right outside my door! Blessings abound…
