Above is Sacramento from the air; both our daughter’s office and apartment are in the above photo. The skyline is unimpressive and this seems more like a sleepy small town than one that has has a sprawling population of 466,000 and governs the seventh largest economy in the world.

The first few photos below are from taking off from the Sacramento airport, and the last ones are of the Chicago skyline at dusk and early evening.

We had a successful trip but it’s great to be home!
