People at Creative Arts Camp 2016

The people are what I go to Creative Arts Camp for. I love the intersection between Christian Scientists and creative people, and I was there about twenty minutes my first time before I knew this would become an annual event for me. Eighty-five percent of enrollment is return people, and it feels a bit like a family reunion these days, after I’ve been coming every year for eleven years. But the newcomers are delightfully welcomed and effortlessly folded into this community, so if you love both of these things too, consider coming next summer!

Here are just a few of the folks I captured in my camera last week… Sorry I didn’t get everybody!

I work to amplify good wherever I find it. I love color, texture, beauty, great ideas, nature, metaphor, deliciousness, genuine spirituality, and exploring new territory. I encourage authenticity, nurture creativity, champion sustainability, promote peace, and hope to foster a new renaissance where we all are free to be our most fulfilled, multifaceted, and terrific selves. I agree with you wholeheartedly Polly! It’s one of my very favorite annual experiences… a haven for creative expression, lovely folk and a beautiful environment. Who could ask for more?
