Opening of the American Wing at Boston Fine Arts Museum

Boston Museum of Fine Arts

I was in Boston again for my kids to attend the yearly MIT Splash program which they love (click here to see last year’s blog post about that). While they were busy, another mom and I slipped off to the opening of the American Wing at the Museum of Fine Arts. Besides lots of furniture, there were good representations of artists like Mary Cassatt, Childe Hassam, and Winslow Homer, among others. See photos of some of the exhibit and the new architecture below. I saw some famous work that I had never seen in person before!

I work to amplify good wherever I find it. I love color, texture, beauty, great ideas, nature, metaphor, deliciousness, genuine spirituality, and exploring new territory. I encourage authenticity, nurture creativity, champion sustainability, promote peace, and hope to foster a new renaissance where we all are free to be our most fulfilled, multifaceted, and terrific selves.
