I had a pleasant day. It was fun to get so many good wishes on Facebook and my husband’s treat of a gougère was delicious. Our daughter gave me two books on farming and I also got a book of quotes from all sorts of great thinkers from the fountain of the Mary Baker Eddy Library in Boston. My big present was a bike hitch for my new car, so now I am ready for spring anytime (see our picnic table with a foot of snow below…) I had lovely chats with both of my sisters via phone, and plus I got in some painting time. I feel truly blest.
