Movie Review War Room

I loved the content, theme, and message of this movie, however the execution of the film brings my review down to four stars. This movie is about a family skidding toward a break-up, and how their life was radically turned around by heartfelt prayer. Unfortunately, the dialogue, acting, and cinematography were a bit too hokey, stilted, and amateurish to completely pull the story off in the way that it deserved. You were aware the whole time that you were watching a movie, instead of becoming immersed in it. However, the content is so important that, regardless of it’s deficiencies, I hope a lot of people see it and are blessed by its message. Dubious of the title when I went in, I loved it when I left. I recommend this one highly if you go to it with low expectations.
