I Made This Idiosyncratic Pottery Vase

Polly Castor pottery

I’ve worked on this for a long time. I only work in the pottery studio on Tuesday mornings and I’ve been away a lot. Then I picked a glaze that needed to be special ordered. So this was a long time coming! I’m pleased to have it done. I had fun arranging these extruded hexagons and now I get to have fun arranging flowers in them. This vase is different from each angle, and in different light, so check out the other photos below… including with flowers!

I work to amplify good wherever I find it. I love color, texture, beauty, great ideas, nature, metaphor, deliciousness, genuine spirituality, and exploring new territory. I encourage authenticity, nurture creativity, champion sustainability, promote peace, and hope to foster a new renaissance where we all are free to be our most fulfilled, multifaceted, and terrific selves.
