Homeward Bound
The simple beauty
of walking in your truth
because it is your own truth,
is the path we eventually return to.
It is what we have yearned for all along,
even though we got distracted
trying to please others by
following their truth.
It is not for us,
to tell anyone what their truth is
or should be. Ever.
It is for us to walk
so fiercely and humbly
in our own authenticity,
that others are inspired
to find and walk in theirs.
Our minds may get this confused,
but our hearts and souls
are always Homeward bound.
