Felting Books

felting books

I mentioned earlier this month in a blog after visiting the New England Felting Supply that I had requested everything available on felting from interlibrary loan. Above you can see that pile. I divided it into three stacks: one pile of books that were not particularly inspiring that went right back to the library, one pile about felting knitted bags that was within my ability range and that I’ll start out with making something new, and the ones that (I felt!) were beyond my range but that were worth learning something from. Those in the last category I show below. I’m enjoying thinking about this but have accepted that my learning curve may be very slow and that is just fine. It is a fascinating area and the possibilities are varied and amazing.

I work to amplify good wherever I find it. I love color, texture, beauty, great ideas, nature, metaphor, deliciousness, genuine spirituality, and exploring new territory. I encourage authenticity, nurture creativity, champion sustainability, promote peace, and hope to foster a new renaissance where we all are free to be our most fulfilled, multifaceted, and terrific selves.
