I have long been drawn to the paintings and monotypes of Carrie Moyer. I like the contrast between poured, transparent, flowing areas, and tight, opaque, crisp-edged shapes. Her process of collaging thumbnails in black and white to explore composition (as seen in this video here) is something I totally embrace and encourage others to do. Check out her work in this post and on her website here.

I work to amplify good wherever I find it. I love color, texture, beauty, great ideas, nature, metaphor, deliciousness, genuine spirituality, and exploring new territory. I encourage authenticity, nurture creativity, champion sustainability, promote peace, and hope to foster a new renaissance where we all are free to be our most fulfilled, multifaceted, and terrific selves.
