The houses on Block Island are lovely in all their shapes and sizes. We stayed in the tiny one at the bottom which belongs to my pottery teacher’s husband’s family; they offered it to us at the last minute on days it hadn’t rented out for the summer. With almost more outside living space than in, it is remote and private – down a bumpy ten minute driveway – and has an ocean view, as you can see in the second to last photo. The birdsong in the morning is amazing. If you’d ever like to rent it out we can hook you up!
